Michael Brittliff – Safety and Environment Manager

Michael is an experienced OHS management systems professional, having developed, implemented and audited OHS management systems across a range of industries, particularly with Local Governments in Queensland.

A lead auditor, Michael uses his experience to coach staff on practical risk management solutions. As an accredited assessor and workplace trainer, he has developed and delivered management presentations on OHS leadership, has written OHS statutory training courses, specific risk based training for clients as well as being an accredited trainer for the RABQSA International Lead Auditor OHS Management Systems program.

Michael has been an accredited RABQSA Lead Auditor since 2007 and has conducted audits for businesses such as Coles, BP Australia, Brisbane City Council, Investa, Gold Coast City Council, Telstra, SEQ Water, Woolworths, Origin, Moreton Bay Regional Council, Department of Natural Resources, Wanless, Ipswich City Council, Toll Logistics, Toll Chemical and the Queensland University of Technology.

Michael holds a Diploma in OHS and Post Graduate Certificate in OHS, has a Certificate IV Assessment and Workplace Training, is an accredited RABQSA International Lead OHS Auditor, Workplace Health and Safety Officer (All Industries) and an accredited Return to Work Coordinator (QLD). He is a member of the Safety Institute of Australia and the Risk Management Institute of Australasia.

Michael has been associated with Tree Crop Technologies since 2010.

 

Rob Heathcote – Forest Manager

Robin Heathcote has 25 years experience in production forestry and degrees in forestry and economics. Rob's expertise includes

  • Setting up and managing plantation programs for sawn and pulp products in Eucalypt and Pinus species
  • Land acquisition, clearing, roading and logging (ground and cable based) of native forests for ongoing production or for plantation establishment
  • Log marketing and new product development with sawmills and other processors in particular for small logs and wood residues.

Rob is familiar with forest industry practises, costs and prices including harvesting, haulage and stumpage rates and wood pricing mechanisms.

 

Rob has worked for both government and private employers and as a private contractor. Rob runs his own business, Heathcote Resources Pty Ltd based near Grafton, NSW.
 

George Lambert – Agronomy Consultant

George has over 45 years experience in the agricultural sector in Queensland, with a strong emphasis on agricultural extension, spanning roles in soil science, broad acre cropping, intensive and extensive grazing systems, crop and pasture nutritional requirements, irrigated forage systems including lucerne used for hay and grazing purposes, salinity management, and Leucaena production and management.

His experience covers Coastal districts from the Qld border to the Berdekin, inland areas from the Darling Downs, Western Downs and north to the Sutter River in central Queensland.
